:: DABECY ::
( emb, dabecymusic )
After a 10 yr a hiatus from the electronic music scene, SF Bay
Area native, DABECY (Darren M. Cutlip) reemerged in December
of 2008, creating the popular ELECTRONIC MUSIC BEARS (emb)
Facebook group and podcast. Reinvigorated by the success of
emb, Dabecy is once again behind the decks, setting off dance
floors at EndUP, Honey Soundystem, and Bearracuda.
:: DEE JAY PEE PLAY ::
( Honey Soundsystem, Homochic )
Dee Jay Pee Play has been working dancefloors in San Francisco
for the past 5 years. He is one of the founding members of the
Honey Soundsystem crew whom hold a residency in SOMA every
Sunday night. He has played locally, all over the U.S. and Europe
and has an unhealthy obsession with all things dance music. No,
you cannot piss on me, you have to buy me dinner first.
:: PAPA TONY ::
( emb, ZooSF )
Hailing from Chicago, Papa Tony caught the music bug at birth.
He's been playing other peoples records for you to dance to for
more than half of his life; the result is a style that is as eclectic as
it is funky. He's played events across the US and UK and has most
recently launched ZooSF with Chris Zachos, Bob Mould and Ben
Holder here in San Francisco.
:: ROBOT BOMB SHELTER :: LIVE ::
California native Robot Bomb Shelter, aka Jake B., has been
producing his own brand of electronic music for over 2 decades.
Influenced by several genres of electronic dance music, he has
crafted his own unique sound. RBS recently opened for ejector
at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. RBS is taking the 'live'
experience to a new level by not only playing his own music
but also programming and creating music on-the-fly.
